Grief is deeply personal for every individual. Here I share my own process over many decades of coming to terms with my mother's death when I was in my early 20's, and still an undergraduate at Kent State University. The book is part memoir, as I describe my own experiences of shock and emotional shutdown, as well as the toll my mother's sudden passing left on my family members. I share my story to also function as a workbook to help you move through your own stages of mother loss. Eventually, there can be healing.
